Icicle mines Hits? Area damage is AoE?

I have this charm. It lists this mod
" But I don't understand, does this damage work with my icicle mines? Is the "arena damage@" AoE or not? icicle mines has AoE tag. How it works? Last bumped on Dec 17, 2023, 8:25:21 PM

Icicle mines have an area for the mine’s aura. They don’t deal area damage. This mod should do nothing for the skill.
