Best lightning spell for leveling? Asking for a lazy friend....

I would love to get some opinions on the best leveling lightning spells to use, with the new transfigured gems. I have not had the chance to read every single one, nor test really any of them.....so I'd love to lean on your experience!

As an example, I have leveled many times with arc but...is the new transfigured arc better/worse? Are there other options? I'm not a huge fan of brands but are any of the new trans brands cool to use?

PS: I CAN level with anything....but I am looking for something nice, possibly new, and possibly way more powerful than anything I've used recently.

Cant believe Im about to say this, but you should give Lightning Tendrils a shot. Been a meme skill for the longest but its really strong because it will always crit.

So just rush EO for a permanent 40% more dmg multi, slap controlled destruction in there as well and delete all bosses during the campaign.

For AoE clear ID recommed an oldschool OoS setup with added cold / ice bite - ele prolif and chain. Thats enough to freeze and clear half a screen while on the move.

HoI and HoT will also help out big time during the campaign and you are basically set.


Essentially its a bit meh during act1 but half way through act2 it really starts to ramp and kick ass.

neat. I've always avoided tendrils because of the super short range and extremely weak power.
