tinctures

Hey,

how exactly do tinctures work?

I've been using icy oakbranch tincture of archaeology, but it turns out the cold damage penetration only applies to weapon strikes and not skills (at least in the tooltip) and the rarity buff doesn't show anywhere in the character sheet. Does it work with skills? is it a character buff, or is it a weapon buff and only works with melee strikes that kill a monster? And what about the culling strike from the tincture? does that apply to character and any damage I do or just weapon strikes?

would be just my luck if NOTHING on it worked with skills, you've been nerfing my build for the last 8 leagues, why stop now... and I am not spending another 50-100 hours to learn a new build, I leave that to POE2

next time just make a proper tooltip, like the 1 minute putting it there explaining how it works wouldn't kill you compared to thousands of hours that went into the league, also quest descriptions of what to actually do would be nice too instead of having to google everything
