Can't do Forbidden sanctum

When I got access to Divinia the first time, I got an urn to use, and a book. I put the book in the relic altar, and started a sanctum run. But I had intended to put the urn in, so I cancelled the sanctum run so I could put in the book. Oops. The book disappeared, and now I am unable to run sanctum at all. The book is not present on my character, nor do I have the quest to find it again. So I appear to be locked out. Last bumped on Dec 12, 2023, 12:47:35 PM

The quest tome is given only once. You'll need to find or buy a new tome for your next run. Once started, you cannot get the tome back.

? how can I purchase a quest item?
Oh, lol, it's a Forbidden Tome, not actually a quest item. So I need to find one of these every time I want to run a sanctum. (I've been away for a year so haven't kept up with the changes.) Please close this bug as resolved. Last edited by Graiaule#7461 on Dec 12, 2023, 12:47:08 PM

The quest item only gives you one run, whether you pass or fail. Ending a Sanctum run prematurely is akin to failing it without having to take the time to go into the room and run it until you fail.
The quest item is only to give you a first taste of the content. After that, you will need Forbidden Tomes to run Sanctum, which can drop rarely in maps. |
