Mechanics question [Impale and Call of Steel]
> If I'm using totems and have the Ancestral Bond keystone, will using Call of Steel still do damage? I assume not but it's technically not me doing the damage, its reflected damage that was stored from the totems doing damage and applying impale stacks
> Will an attack that does no damage (due to Ancestral Bond) consume an impale stack? By default, impale stacks last for 5 hits, if I didn't have 100% chance to Impale then an attack might consume a stack and not add a new one, will this same thing happen if the attack does no damage at all? Like if I wanted to spam a bit of frenzy or static strike to buff up my totems and these attacks have little to no impale chance. Last bumped on Dec 14, 2023, 9:27:30 PM

"Yes, reflected damage doesn't care about your damage modifiers (unless it specifies "reflected"), so Ancestral Bond doesn't prevent Call of Steel from dealing damage. "Yes, and impale will deal its stored damage. |
