Wisp (over)empowered monsters!??
Even though I enjoy the league in itself, I don't enjoy the overpowered wisp monsters. The difference between monsters that are empowered and not empowered is way to big.
Even though my gear isn't the best and my build has some way to go... compared to other league mechanics with and without wisp empowered is really insane. It doesn't feel balanced at all, even after the "nerfs" that were already done. A simple Abyss + (T6)map mods + wisp empowered makes them impossible to kill. A Simple Abyss + (T6)map mods + delirium = no trouble at all. Not sure what "primal, vivid or wild empowered" does. All I know it's worse than an archnemesis essence monster was with 6 mods... It's also strange that the buffs are a lot stronger than for example those from a delirium mirror. Note that some Abyss monsters (the one's that look like a carrion golem) have some sort of phasing where you (or minions) can't hit them. It seems this mechanic gets increased so much they are 95% of the time unhittable. I'm not sure how you're supposed to kill them if you can't hit them...???!!! Edit: Never was so frustrated with any game before!!! The empowered Visceris (map boss) on the overgrown ruins map, T8. Oneshotted me 4 times in a row with exactly the same skills, as though defenses are not a thing anymore. I've been running T6-10 all empowered, didn't have any issue (after I got some extra power) and all of a sudden losing the entire map to a simple boss fight... @GGG -> will there ever be a league where the players aren't your beta testers?? Stuff like this shouldn't get released in the first place. It's broken and it doesn't feel nice to play like this! Risk vs rewards vs fun = out of balance with the empowering league mechanic. I don't think you guys thought this one through or realize it, but empowering an already buffed monsters with map mods, rare mods, unique mods/skills, etc. can scale exponentially, creating situations that are game breaking. Adding a gazillion ton of damage & life to monsters doesn't make the game more challenging and fun, instead it gets more frustrating. Especially if they make regular encounters harder than an actual pinnacle boss... which doesn't sound okay.
