Ultimatum defeat waves of enemies challenge stopped spawning enemies

On round 9/10 or so of an Ultimatum on about 80% of the bar to the next round there were no enemies were left to kill in a challenge to kill waves of enemies. Jumped around the zone and even a bit outside of it to try and find them but there was absolutely nothing left.
