Mighty Hunter node working as intended?

On a whim, I allocated "Mighty Hunter", and took an Einhar mission. After the last beast was slain Einhar was no longer visible on the map, even though his icon was seen on the minimap. When leaving the screen, and transitioning to the arena, Einhar was nowhere to be seen. Going back to the part of the map where his minimap icon was, Einhar was still not visible. Is this a bug, or am I missing something obvious?

thanks, yeah that must have been it I guess, next map worked as intended I suppose, even if Einhar doesn't seem to join things like Ultimatum and side areas...?
