Game freezes for 1 or 2 seconds right when I kill a boss

I've been having this issue for a few leagues now and cannot seem to figure out why. I've messed with a lot of the settings, done a clean windows and game install, the issue doesn't always happen, I disabled my loot filter in the past and it fixed it but only like 50% of the time. This league it is happening constantly without any filter while leveling. It only happens when I kill an act boss or a map boss. Unique enemies other than those for example Chatters, I have no problem with. I believe the cause of the freeze is the many items being dropped at once, but I don't understand why, my fps just goes down to 1 and the game freezes.

I have 16 gigs of ram, ryzen 5600 and a rtx 3070, playing on 1080p with all settings on low, DirectX12, Vsync off, Windowed fullscreen, Engine multithreading enabled, Dynamic culling and resolution off. I will try to provide any other information that seems relevant if anyone is willing to try and help me out.

same here, I posted today and realized this page is full of complaints just like it, this is particularly frustrating when fighting sirus and you freeze into a chaos storm xD

Not having any problems since the fix to totems and reap yesterday..
Idk why when it is completely unrelated but at least for now I can play
