GGG just removed one Golem from Golem builds.
"The Anima Stone Unique Jewel no longer has "+1 to maximum number of Summoned Golems", though existing versions of this item are unaffected by this change. Golem builds should now be less dependent on this Jewel to be effective, and instead have Transfigured Skill Gems available that serve a similar purpose."
This is what they said. But it means the main gem just got -1 golem. And there is no more any additional buffs for main golem skill, they just litterly nerfed golems again at least on 20% by removing golem. I saw the new "Transfigured gems" but they are all shit comapred with main gem. AGAIN GOLEMS NERFS SAD GG SAD Last bumped on Dec 9, 2023, 10:24:37 PM

That's what I thought at first, but I think it's not -1 golem, but -1 socket. The anima stone gives only 1 extra golem (with 3 primordial items) now, but the hordes gems give +2 golems, so that's actually 1 more golem than before. However, the hordes gem has no buff, so if you want to get the buff (e.g., stone golem regen), you need to socket the hordes gem in your damage setup and another standard golem gem elsewhere. So, in the end, you have the same number of damage-dealing golems as before, plus an extra buffing golem, requiring 1 more socket than before.
If that's right, then this is maybe a strange and pointless change, as anima stone is just as necessary as before, and there is no difference other than needing another socket; but I guess that's not as bad as -1 golems. |
