So uhm ran into a snag with Consecrated path of Endurance
Was trying out this new transfigured gem and its pretty amazing at clear, in fact with the Slayer ascendancy its a screen wide bomb of an ability that deletes packs. Its practically perfect for Delve and any content that doesn't involve bosses or juiced up rares.
The problem comes with its single target as it can mostly only generate charges when attacking packs with endurance charge on melee stun. Against single enemies it runs out of steam fast so I was wondering what I could do to fix it to make it more consistent. My first idea and the one that seems like the cheapest option is to use the new Warlock Ascendancy's Phantasm curse along with Doedrie's elixir to maintain charges as you have a very high chance of restoring flask charges when killing the phantasms. But it would mean piano gameplay. The second idea I got which is the expensive option is to use a Replica Oro's Sacrifice and Expidition's end to proc freeze on Bosses to maintain endurance charges. But Expidition's end costs at least 1.2 divs at base. So I am sort of stuck without an option besides to go back to regular consecrated path. But I would like to hear your thoughts. It's not going to be easy for sure. Maybe try using Gluttony to self-damage yourself when using Consecrated Path since it's a travel skill (probably) and stack chance to gain EC when hit from tree and charms. Precursor's Emblem with chance to gain up to max charges and/or gain EC every second if hit recently could also help, but that's helova expensive thing.

" Well that's an idea but the gist that I am getting is there is no budget fix for the build. Its a shame because its almost efficient enough to be an endurance charge version of Flicker strike. Sadly gaining endurance charges is always an expensive affair. I think I can sort of make the skill more bearable with Second wind support since it has a 2 second cooldown. But it would mean sacrificing a gem slot. |
