King of the Mist can become stuck and unkillable

I encountered the King of the Mist and upon getting him to about 75% HP, he went into a "dazed" animation which he never came out of. His life could not be damaged during this animation, though his ES could. I thought perhaps the totem at the center of his arena was the key to this phase, but it was also still untargetable.

It's possible this was a result of him moving away from his arena. He kept moving further and further away, and was a full screen away from his arena when he entered the stuck state.

how do you encounter king of the mist?

I have encountered The King of the Mists twice now and he has quit attacking and became unattackable both times. First time was at about 60% life, second was at about 30% life.

Happened to me on 12/19, went out of the arena, followed some light spheres, when I got back to the arena TKOTM was just standing off to the side not doing anything, can't be attacked. Had to exit the game and come back.

Same happened to me today (played in party, Temple map (T14), entered the affliction once cleared the map, skipped the map boss):

First phase went OK,
Second phase followed the correct route and found an exit. Entered the portal.
Got back to first arena, King of the Mist stayed stuck on the stairs to one of his altars.

Closed the game and uninstalled it... Thanks for good gaming experience GGG
