Can use Smoke Mine to skip through Undying Blockage in Act 3

Setup:
I have received the Infernal Talc however I have not used it. As this was accidental, I do not know if it happens without the Talc.

Steps
1. Go to The Sewers in Act 3
2. Place cursor over/behind the Undying Blockage and place a smoke mine
3. Trigger the mine

Expected Results
The mine to have ended up against the blockage, and teleport in close.

Actual Results
Teleport past the blockage and are able to walk around. The screen in the passage stays black however the end room itself is visible. The transition to The Ebony Barracks is not active.

NB: I did claim the crafting recipe though I doubt this matters.
