Animate Weapon of Self Reflection question

Since this animate weapon creates a copy of your main hand weapon, How does that interaction work with something like Arakalis Fang? Can each individual weapon create spiders of their own limit, or is the "kill" counted as the summoner's, limiting it still to 20? Is the buff given to the player, or the weapon?

Minion weapons (from Animate Guardian or Animate weapon) cannot trigger skills. So Arakaali's fang and the likes won't have any effect besides their base stats.
