CreateBuffer: Parameter is incorrect

I downloaded the game and every time I try to open it I get this error. I first downloaded it from the website, then from Steam, with the same results.

I'm using a PC with Intel i7, NVIDIA 3050, 32 GB Ram, and Windows 10. Anyone know why this would be happening?
