Allow players to gift Supporter Packs and MTXs.

In working at getting one of my buddies to get going in POE and to also give him a Christmas present I wanted to purchase a support pack and maybe a stash tab bundle for him. Anyway to do this?

This is just my opinion. But I personally think this will encourage a kinda similar to RMT transaction? I mean I like the idea but...

They're pretty good about it yeah but you'll want to know the person you're gifting pretty well and for a long time.

I wouldn't suggest trading for them. Gifting them would still limit it as far as not taking away from GGG income. In my scenario you would just go up to the store, and if a Gift checkbox is checked, they ask for the POE Player # or however they track that. This way you aren't gifting out of your current list of microtransactions that you own. I have done it through Steam, but it is just more personal when you pick the pack for them, with the amount you want to spend. I think this would also just be for supporter packs initially of course. I would gift the most disruptive MTXs I could find. I'm tired of being the only one wearing them in our party play with my friends. :D

Ha, agreed. I get crud all the time. "You need to wait until you are at least 70 before you put on the mtx and make you look cool." I say not with all the time I have been collecting them.
I pick a theme and then go for it the first day. Usually one of the ones from the current supporter packs because I like to support the devs each league. |
