[Question] What odds are be to get specific transfigured gem at normal lab?

As in title. Looking for information of how many (on average) lab runs player needs to do at normal lab to get a specific transfigured gem.

I mean...you can figure it out on your own. If we assume there is an equal chance of everything, and they have said there are over 100 new gems...
From what we've seen you get MAYBE 4 transfigure options that result in one of the new gems....so that gives you less than a 1 / 25 chance of getting a specific transfigured gem. Ofc this is assuming they are all EQUALLY rare...which likely isn't the case. |

I don't think transing gems is gonna be the same as getting a helmet enchantment, at least not from the league announcement video I saw. It looks like you insert the desired gem and then select the transfigured version.

It appeared that me that you get to pick 3 transfigured gems of the same color, not particularly the same gem you put in there.

ive run around ~25 uber labs and my observations are:
- gems.. seem to be weighted but in a very, very weird way (probably bugged). ive got ~6 times the SAME exact tripple: ice trap, balista, blink arrow. given the odds, it is VERY unlikely scenario to occur naturally - there are FAR fewer red gems compared to green/blue so if you want red gem, it is going to be easier, most of them have only one alt making it even easier to hit the one - the option to pick 'trans gem of THIS particular skill' is rare. 3/50 tries rare in my case, dont count on it. if you are not after build-defining gem (like cremation of corpse detonation while spewing projectiles) you should be able to find a trans gem you want for 1c on trade the options to add quality or exp to a gem seem to be far more interesting in the long run |
