GGG, Penance Brand clarifications?

Can we get a clarification on the new Penance Brand interactions with Remarkable where you summon 2 brands and attach on one target?

They will both attach (either simultaenously or after the other in server ticks), generate to 20 energy stacks then boom.

Does one ALWAYS boom before the other, thereby rendering Remarkable / 2x attached brand interaction useless, or does both brands attached check for 20 energy and explode on the next available server tick after, causing 2x damage?

Please, so many people have been wondering about it I'm surprised it's not addressed in FAQ yet.

You generate energy twice as fast with two brands attached, therefore not useless. An additional explosion would quadruple DPS, not something one should expect.

It will be double charge speed to 10 which is still pretty good tbh

I kept my remarkables on my previous penance brand builds and the upcoming one because it looks easier to scale the rate with remarkable than with cast speed in terms of passive efficiency.
