This is from an HC point of view :
So you left the single most profitable mechanic as is? One that is also easy once you get the hang of it, like there is no actual danger in that content, be the most profitable one? It has insane currency rewards + chase items + build enabling items and the balance was make the tomes a bit more rare? Something is wrong Old school Heist was exactly what sanctum is now, a currency printing mechanic, but heist was nuked from orbit and even got the last thing that made it special (alternative gems) taken out of it. Expedition got 3 nerfs, is WAYYY deadlier than sanctum, and has way less rewards. Why? A fine tuned build for sanctum does a full one in less than 20m, and its always profitable. Compare it to anything else it doesnt even come close. Its not dangerous content (like bossing/simulacrum/expedition), its not time consuming (like simulacrum/blight), the skill needed is bypassed isntantly when you get to X amounts of damage making the one thing special it has obsolete and on top of that the rewards are always good currency (chaos/ sextants/divines) or good uniques. ??? Tota is gone, depends on how much ultimatum is rewarding but now people will all turn towards sanctum for raw divine farming I think.
If they nerfed the rewards too much people would cry too much as usual. At least I hope the drop rate was nerfed enough so that the entry cost is a bit higher. |

Do remember that they nerfed the drop rate of Sanctum tomes. While we do not nerf the new drop rate, it's not unlikely that it'll around 1/4th or 1/5th drop rate of what they were.
While the profit per run may be very similar to this league, the margin will be far less, as the supply has severely decreased, while demand likely hasn't changed much, thus increasing the investment cost of going into Sanctum. On top of that add the nerf to the most powerful unique relic, and it's not as bad as the picture you're painting. Sanctum will have much more limited access or a significantly higher upfront investment, while still be a good source of consistently getting divines (which is great for people playing PL/SSF), Last edited by FalkenRaiding#1068 on Dec 4, 2023, 7:22:43 AM

As I said in another Sanctum complaint thread: How about we wait until league launches to see how expensive tomes have gotten first?
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

cmon... They nerfed the 2 major things about Sanctum... Availability and loot multi unique relic. Those things are the best ways of controlling the loot flow and ppl still complain??
