Major Input Lag

not sure if anyone else has experienced major lag recently when playing. My character sometimes stops responding completely in the middle of combat. I have tried reinstalling the game but haven't had any luck. This is a poe exclusive issue. Not sure if it has something to do with the upcoming league or an influx of players but its been doing this for the last few days.
