New Rakalesh's Impatience

So the new wording on Rakalesh's Impatience is unclear, and I'd like to ask GGG for clarification, how does it work now?


I have two versions that seem likely:

You only 'count' as having maximum charges. This means you can lose and gain charges between the minimum and maximum, but gain effects from anything that said 'while you have maximum X charges'

OR

You have 'invisible' charges, but you are at max charges mechanics wise.

It will be the first one.

Im too waiting to someone from stuff to answer this question, becuase its kinda non-intuitive wording...

I have the smae question. Wording is confusing here. The item will be incredibly powerful if it's the second case here.

So is boot swapping dead? I would briefly swap the boots just to max out my endurance, frenzy, and power charges before a boss encounter.

Yes, boot swapping is dead. In fact the boots do nothing for Discharge now. "Count as" has never actually given you the things, all it does is allow you to meet the condition of "on maximum charges."
