"Would also assume that. Weird wording though. Maybe "Ethereal Knives" is a 'weapon'? Or "Bladefall" maybe? And are arrows weapons? Shields in Shield attacks are not weapons right? Spectral copies of weapons are weapons? No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

As I understand it, attacks hit with weapons while spells do not. Off-hand shield attacks don't count here either since shields are not considered weapons, nor would unarmed attacks.

Hits with weapons is always an attack based wording as far I know.
Now I sit in wait for the PhD level POE players to correct me :) Thanks for all the fish!
