Frequent 3000ms Latency Spikes

I finally ran WinMTR and noticed that the spikes start at the very first node, and are the same regardless of host (but by far the worst while playing POE). So obviously the problem is on my side, but most other people with router issues have the spikes start on the second node.

Does anyone know what it means if the spikes are the same across all nodes?

I thought the jump from the first node to the second was the PC to the router? Every person with poor wireless connections has the latency appear on the second node, the first one is usually 1ms.
Turns out it was an easy fix. My wireless signal strength showed up as 5 bars and my ping was fine (except for giant spikes), so I figured signal strength wasn't the problem.

It was the problem.

Moved my computer out of the corner and into the middle of the room and all the ping spikes disappeared.

Gonna go buy a usb wifi adapter with a long cord and put the antennae in a better spot.
