F5 to teleport to your hideout

Can we please add an in-game hotkey function for teleporting to our hideouts?
The Awakened Trade macro used to offer this but is now removed from any recent and future installations because it caused issues. With the unnecessary recent graphic updates, the amount of graphic stutters has increased significantly. Since the function used the chat interface, it would not work properly during a game stutter, resulting in posting clipboard text from your computer - and that was a whole different type of issue, thus the function had been removed from that software. It is clear that such function is essential for our game experience. It solves issues and saves time. Please add it in the game. Thank you.

F5 teleport is not part of the chat commands (I think it is part of Awakened PoE Trade macros - 3-party software)

I think this should be discussed with the developers of Awakened PoE Trade, not GGG.

You can trigger the command yourself by typing /hideout, which is all the macro is doing anyway. And /guild takes you to your guild hideout, if applicable.
A lot of people don't know about this stuff, but it's genuinely the fastest way to navigate to various league mechanic areas: /sanctum, /metamorph, /delve, and so on. |

"This is the only available way for me to type text in game chat quickly and reliably across multiple platforms. And because I overwrite your clipboard content I provide an option to restore it after the command (hopefully) executes. But as you see PoE can lag which would restore clipboard before PoE unlags, so that PoE process inputs from OS queue later and actually pastes whatever I've restored back. This feature has been disabled for all new installations." This is the reason I bring this as a suggestion to the community here, so that it's implemented in the game as an internal key function to avoid the known issue. F5 key in Awakened Trade Macro simply binds "/hideout" command to "F5" key.
It would be nice if we could do that ingame, for example by adding a few entries to bind commands to specified keys in Options -> Input. This would allow us to bind commands like "/remaining" and "/kills" and "/reset_xp" which we use often. Last edited by 6_din_49#4066 on Oct 30, 2023, 7:05:58 AM
