Chat not showing global chat

I have been unable to see global chat messages (and possibly guild messages) for a few days. When I log in, I usually see one #global message and then it is complete silence. I still see trade messages every once in a while. I'm not sure if I receive all of my guild's messages as many of my chat messages are not responded to. I'm relatively certain I receive whispers and party messages. I have had no notification of being muted by any character or globally (if that even exists).

I only noticed this due to the fact that I usually see a red global chat message at least once when I change character. I had thought I unchecked global, but I have checked and it is not disabled by me.

Did I do something in options that I cannot recall doing, or am I shadow muted? I feel like this is a server issue.

Please let me know if this is answered elsewhere, as I found a thread on the topic but it was from 2016 and there was no formal response or workaround.

Edit: The last time I received global chats was at 2023/09/24 16:32:47 central timezone. I can see from the logfile that this occurred while I was unallocating most of my passive skills and then I reallocated them differently. There are no more global chats received other than one sometimes right after I change character.

Also, support was contacted. I have no account restrictions currently.

Edit 2: After today's patch, this issue is RESOLVED.

Yep. That worked. That or the patch that came out recently reset something and chat works now. Even the channel that was previously silent.
