Does IIQ from gear works on lifeforce drop in harvest on maps?

Does Item Quantity from gear work on lifeforce drop in Harvest on maps? Or only map/altars/atlas quantity increase lifeforce drop?

I remember enthusiasts tested lifeforce drop with 100% reduced item quantity and it still dropped fine. That means player item quantity doesn't affect lifeforce drop.
