WTF, Seriously?
I have tried with and without the VPN. I have tried both patching and clean install. SAME RESULT It doesn't fail on the same file every time but I'm on the 6th try now and it keeps failing. I'm REALLY sad now, I LOVE this game, I'm a Beta supporter I'd hate for this to be the end. Sobbbb :( |

I am wired in to my router.
I run just Microsoft security essentials. I have not had any previous problems with updates. Did you change something with this patch that would cause antivirus to not allow hassle free updating? |

This may improve network performance with some ISPs." I wouldn't expect this to cause issues during the patching process though. Do you have an exception added in your MSE for the game? Would you be able to disable it completely to test? |

I placed a blanket exception to the entire Grinding Gear Games folder into MSE and now I have been sitting on Checking Resources for about 10 minutes.

It appears the new port is 8095, at least that is what shows up when the download fails.

So I am still waiting for my laptop to finish allocating space, but I went ahead and tried installing POE to a new location and I still got the error.
Error: Failure when receiving data from the peer while downloading http://patch103.pathofexile.com:8095/patch/0.10.7.1/Metadata/Terrain/Act3/Area10Level1/generate.rs Like I said earlier it doesn't happen at the same file every time. |

So, my other computer failed also, it came up with an error that says a partial file was downloaded.
I have never seen that one before. |
