Tattoos after 3.22 [my feedback]

Overall, I hope that tattoos will stay with us forever. I know they are strong but at the same point allow us to make fun builds.
You can make them drop only from some "dead content" like f.e. unique maps. We have so many unique maps that nobody farm because there is no single reason to run them. Maps like Death and Taxes, Olmec, Maelstrom etc people do only once per league just for map completion. If we can drop from final boss 1 random tattoo per 10 maps ... people will farm them. And this is just example. I hope they will stay with us. Maybe in some cases they are too strong but make them rare. P.S. Personally I'll also add to all unique maps new mod: "if you die all your active portals will be closed" Last bumped on Oct 6, 2023, 4:29:50 PM

While I also hope tattoos remain a part of the game, I couldn't disagree more with the idea of removing them from their home mechanic. The dissemination of specific league rewards across all other content is one of my biggest gripes with modern PoE: I hate that the best source of scarabs isn't Betrayal, I hate that the best source of catalysts isn't Metamorph, and I hate that the best source of oils isn't Blight.

I really hope Tattoos go core I dont mind on what mechanic as long as Tattoos are available.

Agreed they should go core somehow.
They solve one of the biggest problems with the passive tree in an interesting way (boring small travel nodes) while also allowing you to fill in the blanks for builds by getting the last few chaos res or stat points without needing silly items. |

I guess they cannot remove it from the game, o/w all builds that use tattoos will break... And I agree, they can remove the DOTA Game from core but leave the item drop... It can drop from any boss/map though...
