treat mob ele res values as inverted is it possible to reinvert it accidently with curse?

Hey guys im very confused about this hits have 25% chance to treat monsters elemental resistance values as inverted i saw a level 100 player in poe.ninja he using this passive while he has a ring and that ring has a curse enemies with elemental weakness on hit, so when he using this passive he will reinvert the monsters elemental resistance to +30%? i mean if a monsters have +30% elemental resistance the passive will invert it to -30% right? but if im using curse enemies with elemental weakness on hit, it will be +30% so the elemental resistance will be 0 or its not true? cause im very confused and i can't even test it i checked in pob i saw some dps drop when i used this passive so its really confusing thanks if someone understand this, i asked this to make sure im right or not. Thanks your time if anyone can answer this, and good luck to everyone.

Say a monster has 50 cold res. Your frostbite is -20 cold res.

Without the frostbite, you would hit him as if he has -50 cold res 25% of the time.

With frostbite, you would hit him as if he has -30 cold res 25% of the time because the "treat as inverted" happens at the end.

The end result is that the guy you saw has a tighter damage band (higher low and lower high). DPS-wise, you are better off not using a resist curse with it (you can do a completely different curse). But you get spikier damage, whereas using the curse gives you more consistent but overall lower damage.

wow thanks so dont use curses when im using this passive right? thanks really
Use curses, just not the resist ones. Punishment is a good bet if you don't have another choice.
thanks temjingold ok:D
