reset rank

Is there a way to reset the rank in the league mechanic?

I come to a point where I can't win the last match because everything one-shots.

But because I get 2nd place, I still get +rank points.

And no I am not going to lose the first match on purpose, that's just bad designing.

Other than making new character - no.
