New player, Artillery Ballista projectile question.

Is there any way to change the fire graphic to lightning?
I was about to buy some totem MTX but unsure if that will change the actual projectile graphic.

I'm new to PoE, playing a pathfinder and am running a typical artillery ballista and lightning arrow setup.
When I am using the ballista I can't see anything through the fire graphics..
I adjusted some option settings and whatnot but am looking to change the fire arrow graphic itself.

Any advice for near sixty year old gamer would be greatly appreciated !

The MTX for ballistas and totems only changes the appearance of the item itself. As far as I know, there is not a way to change the appearance of the fire graphic from the artillery ballista.

And yes, it is a bit annoying, I have a Deadeye using it and those flames raining down are a bit "loud".
