Peddler's Produce I's Magic weapon

Am I misunderstanding what the challenge wants? I used a knife a granite flask and an orb of augmentation to get a magic tier knife with +physical damage yet the challenge doesn't trigger. I did Hybrid flask and onyx amulet just before so I know it's working.

Now, will someone please enlighten me on how I'm being stupid. Because it's either the game or it's me and let's be honest here, it's probably me.

The challenge states "Magic Weapon with Increased Spell or Physical Damage".

The vendor recipe you did was for # added physical damage, Probably need to use the one with whetstone and rustic sash.

See, I knew I was the one to blame.
