Is chaos resistance important to farm maps?

Hi, do I need chaos res to farm the crimson temple map?

Depends on how much you enjoy dying. There is quite a bit of chaos damage running around and with -60 chaos res you'll die the moment you run into that. That being said, it's unlikely you'll lose 6 portals because of that and it isn't going to happen every map. So you can farm maps without chaos res but you'll die more often than with it.

With chaos tattoos, it's easier to get chaos resistance to a respectable level. That may be around 0%, and you'll probably be good to go. Otherwise chaos spitters and chaos degen pools can really mess you up, and quickly.

it should be at least positive but you dont need to get to 75. mine is usually around 20-25 and it seems fine. you will still get 1 shot in maps just a lot less
