Xesht-Ula drops no loot

I'm farming Breach and I've fought it twice, both times it dropped nothing.
The interesting thing is that the boss icon stays on the map even after killing it, until the breach closes, which may mean that it doesn't reach the "dead" state? (whatever lol).

edit: I actually fought it 3 times, the one I didn't kill it it dropped splinters, but these 2 times I killed it, no loot at all.

Same thing.
Each time I "kill" him icon stays on the map and there is no loot.
Iirc totems keep attacking "dead" boss.
