"When you kill" clarification

I've just tested Oriath'end by letting my minions kill: the monsters explode.
I've also tested wearing Headhunter: my minions kill, but I win the rare monster mods.
And yet these items have the description "when YOU kill".
On the other hand, with Rigwald's Crest or Arakaali's Fang, for example, when my minions kill, nothing happens. I have to kill.

So what's the difference between one (which works when minions kill) and the other (which works only when I kill)?

Is there a table or database somewhere that shows which objects fall into which category?

Headhunter is an exception to that rule. Other than that you'll never benefit from 'when you kill' stuff with minions, unless you use gravebind
"buff grenades"

- Buff Grenades (Buff-Grenades)

If the kills are due to DoT it should still counts as the character doing the killing? (Due to some implementation limitation or whatever they made it so IIRC.)
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
Faslse, as i said, Oriath'end also work when minions kills (i'm not attacking, i just turning around the monsters and they explode under the effect of the potion)

Oriath'end is also an exception? okay, so I'll ask again: is there a database of "exceptions" somewhere?
It's time to review the description of Oriath'end and Headhunter (at least).
