secondary use for Augumentation orbs / binding orbs

After the first few days of a league there is an abundance of augumentaion orbs and no real usage for them. Even if you are alt spamming and augumenting every time when there is only one affix you hardly ever feel the need to pick them up because they are so plentiful and you get them anyway by vendoring rares early on.

I suggest that we could vendor them for another basic currency that has more uses.
Something the likes of 10 augumentation orbs for 1 chancing orb since they are useful for gambling, heist and trade down to scouring orbs.
This would also make more contextual sense than vendoring fusing orbs to chancing orbs as fusings are associated with socket modification and wont alter the item like augugemtation orbs do. It doesnt feel right either since i value fusings way more then chancing orbs.

The situation with orbs of binding is similar. there is a very tight time window where they are actually useful when leveling your first character. Many times I don't even find an orb of binding until that window has passed and they become close to useless.

I would like to see them having a exchange rate into orbs of unmaking as they are hard to come by. The scarcity of unmaking orbs is especially true when playing ssf and you actually need to redo your atlas tree multiple times to farm run different endgame content.

Binding orbs can be used on maps, contracts.
Augmentation Orbs can be used to buy Alteration Orbs (4:1) and you always use alts and augs together when crafting.

What use are you looking for?

I have to admit i overlooked the option to trade in aug for alts.
Early on this surely is a good option for some additional alts but after you have a character in the endgame you hardly ever run out of alts. Even if you do they are very easy to aquire in great volumes.

Another way of exchanging augs would give them more value to pick up.

With chancing orbs on the other hand you need thousands if you want to try your luck of creating a specific unique and i am not even talking about the super rare ones. But aquiring them in such volumes in ssf is task of unspeakable grindiness as you effectively need 5 chancing orbs for one try (1 for the actual chancing and 4 to scour afterwards).

Since there is one currency which is way too plentiful and one that is too scarce for its actual usefulness a conversion rate could fix the two inmho.

Regarding the binding orb the mentioned usecase of creating a rare version of maps and contracts makes not much sense in my eyes since alch orbs do the same thing and are 4 to 5 times more likely to drop (just a gut estimate).
Given that they are rarer they should hold more value to them.

So what i want to say is that the rarity/value ratio is not in a good place.
