Explode Tattoo + Corrupting fever

I was wondering if the Tattoo of the Ngamahu Warmonger, which states "Enemies you Kill have a 2% chance to Explode, dealing a tenth of their maximum Life as Fire Damage" would apply corrupting fever stacks. I was going to try using it instead of haemophilia gloves
