Reset Desecrate corpses for Detonate Dead

I want to play Detonate Dead with high-life corpses (Kitava's Herald) in my Desecrate pool. I have some low-life Spectres/Corpses in my pool from a previous build, and I can't reset it. I tried using a new Desecrate/Spectre gem, changing my hideout, buying max Spectre increase items to override the existing ones. Nothing worked. I hope someone can help.

No one knows how to reset it?

You need to overwrite them with other monsters (preferably with high life too). I think Desecrate keeps the same number of monsters as your maximum possible number of Spectres.
