died 7 times in uber lab... what am i doing wrong?

Hi all.
i'm playing this game for 7 years.
had tons of chars during the years, many builds, many tries.
i play since the days of act 1-4 normal/cruel/merciless.

currently, i'm playing champion splitting steel.
as always, i try to follow guides.

i'm level 89,
i have all my res capped, including chaos res,
determination (not enough money to buy enlighten for grace also),
100% chance to to suppress damage,
4000 life.

and yet izaro keep smashing me.

in the past i usually finished him easily at levels 84-86... just this char is killing me, literally.

any tips/suggestions?

you seem strong enough, even too strong for uber lab, what exactly is killing you inside?

second fight to be honest.
he's getting out of the hole, the fight start and BOOM i'm dead.
can't even notice what killed me.
it was 7 (!) times like this.

Try this:

When the fight is about to start, be about half a screen from him. Don't attack him. You want to bait him to leap/charge/etc. at you. Once he starts that, avoid it, then go attack him while he is recovering. Just repeat this until he dies.

just use armor flask and you should be able to facetank him easily, also some armor on gear will make izaro joke

Have looked at your char - you got the Ascendancy notables "in the wrong order". 4000 life without Fortify, not much Armour? If you get unluckily hit even unbuffed lvl75 Izaro may be able to oneshot your char. So either buff up or dont get hit - at least by anything big.

And the difficulty of Izaro depends very much on buffs and weapon type. You didnt write anything about that. If its today he got Lieutenants in first fight which should be easy before he gets Gargoyle buffs.

Just start out by circling around him, he shouldnt be able to hit you then. Today is Mace so dont make the circle too small though.

Probably only helps vs the Goddess barrage and maybe Idols, otherwise dont matter either in 2nd fight I think. Edit: Maybe some of his small things are spells, possible, dont know. But all his big hits are attacks.

If you are buffing him up in any way its probably worth it to slow the fight down to stop any of the buffs he can get from happening.

Definitely pay attention to any of the mechanics in each phase. If there are charge generators make sure to clear his charges by touching any of the charge generators that spawn. Kill gargoyles as soon as you're able to attack them. Reset any elemental conduits before they reach full charge, etc.

The only way it's possible to ignore these mechanics is if you're unkillable somehow or you have enough dps to instantly phase Izaro. Even if you instantly phase Izaro you will still have to dodge a multitude of his attacks before he lowers himself back down.

On the 3rd phase, culling strike effectively shortens the fight by 1/3rd if you can fit that in somewhere, 2/3rds if you're a slayer and took the 20% cull ascendancy.

This being said, just keep trying until you understand what's happening. Izaro is a great fight for practicing dodging boss slams since all of his attacks are well telegraphed ahead of time.
