High latency in game

https://pastebin.com/4tLrjt13 Super high latency in game, texas server usually. also happens on california and washington. Completely unplayable. Just went into a map with a friend that is on washington server, i dont lag in his map. If i go to washington and play solo i still lag. I can go to my command prompt and ping everything i can think of without packet loss. The only time i get it is pinging pathofexile.com. Can anyone thing of a solution. Or am i screwed from my locations required hops?
To be specific with i trace hops the only timeout i ever get is the cloudflare hop. 100% of the time that is where i have a timeout. Ive tried flushdns, netsh winsock reset catalog (whatever this is), ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew. nothing seems to work Last edited by Lonnie455Rich#2087 on Aug 28, 2023, 6:57:26 PM

Your WinMTR is showing packet loss at Cloudflare, between your ISP and PoE. It might just be your ISPs routing. Can you get in touch with them and show them the WinMTR, and tell them that whatever is happening is affecting your internet use (don't mention gaming).

" I don't really know how to show them the winmtr, but i just called them and they barely spoke english and they just mumbled and told me to contact poe if i only experience packet loss when pinging pathofexile.com. Im calling back tomorrow, if they give me the run around i guess ill just tell them to cancel my internet service if mumbling and hanging up is the best they can do. I don't really know what else to do in this situation. I dont know if it really is the isp or what but there is no way to contact ggg to get this checked out. The game is unplayable at this point though i 6 portal every map from 200-2k ms spikes. I can play on london with a solid 130 ms and no spiking. i guess this is my only option right now. " I'm in the same boat from southeast USA. Tracerts to poe website show it dying at a cloudfare ip, too. Hopefully it gets resolved. During the day it's fine, but then I take a break and come back to play before bed and in maps and hideout i'm lag spiking, then I go into blood aqueducts or something and it's super smooth. I did what you did and swapped to London then went back into maps, also smooth. I can it again and only one * this time, usually it was the 2nd n 3rd both having * 5 57 ms 38 ms * ipv4.de-cix.dfw.us.as13335.cloudflare.com [206.53.202.2] |

Yep. Morning is super smooth around 5 pm central time it explodes. If there’s a way to contact whoever is in charge of this routing I would like to know. I’ll change isps right now if there was one that didn’t use cloudflare in the hop.

Tried to contact cloudflare and there is really no way to communicate with a person unless you are a company that specifically uses them and/or have some account number.
If anyone has any ideas it would be nice. Seems as if dallas is having multiple issues right now. |

We're back to when I log in it literally drops my entire internet connection from my computer, which results in an instant 0-60,000 latency that logs me out. When I quit the client the internet instantly comes back online.

An update, i can play on canada east just fine with about 70 ms. still worse than my 30ms during the day but its playable. My isp is going to try and see if they can check on my issue. I finally got someone who could speak english properly and knew what i was talking about.
