Fire Burst and Sacrifice Support

In Character Panel, Fire Burst displays the Support Gem as active while socketed, but Fire Burst does not sacrifice Life or give additional Chaos Damage when activated via any other hit based skill.

Can be replicated using any weapon that is crafted using Essence of Hysteria and have Sacrifice Support in its socket.

Sacrifice Support generally doesn't work with triggered spells. Should be the description and pop-up support menu oversight.

it shows that the skill is supported by sacrifice but it doesn't work

There was a GGG post on Twitter confirming that Sacrifice support cannot be used with triggered spells like Atziri's Rule or with Cast on Crit. Fire Burst is another triggered spell sadly so you'll see it linked but it doesn't do anything.
