Maps not showing in Map Tab

This has happened many times this league, where a map of a certain tier will not show up in the map tab whatsoever. For example, I have some screenshots of Carcass map in my inventory, but in the Map Tab, there is no entry whatsoever under Tier 11 maps for "Carcass".

Once the map is added to my Inventory, the icon for "Carcass" will magically appear under the Tier 11 area of the Map Tab.

This is incredibly frustrating because I (and probably others) track map completion using the map tab (easier than to use the Atlas). If a map isn't showing up there, then I don't even know that it is incomplete!
