Buying a new laptop for Poe, recommendation?

Hello exiles

the game is broken after the death patch, buying new hardware will not help, you have to wait for a fix or a rollback, waiting a fix like many other players, 15 fps on maps

Thanks for the response but I think I miss explained myself
I am buying a new laptop anyway, I want my new laptop to be able to run Poe 1 and 2 correctly. This is why I am asking and not because of the patch effects. thanks for the help :) |

I don't even know what type of NASA laptop you need to run this game well currently.
This is why people won't be able to help you... Some players with non-laptop i9's and decent ryzens/rtx4070, 3060+ etc. and god knows how many RAM can't run this game properly maintaining stable FPS or not overheating their parts. It's a leap of faith mate, maybe it will run well or it won't. Buy THE BEST ur funds allow with latest possible parts on your budget. You can try looking for ryzen 6000 series or 7000 CPU, RTX 3060+, decent SSD and at least 16GB RAM. I think this is more than enough to run POE, when it's fixed of course. As to PoE2 nobody knows what will be the requirements, nobody know for sure when it's gonna be out, so your ambitions for that is a little bit far fetched. If you care about PoE2 that much, wait till it releases. And you will know what system you need to run it. New mute system is terrible - no trade... Ask on poe reddit, there are more people, maybe someone can tell something from their experience. But clarify you aware of problems with patch coz comments will fall into shtshow (well, they most likely will do it anyway but at least you can try :D )

Game is working fine for me on a mid tier PC but hey, mileage varies.
As for laptops, they are not recommended for gaming in general, they don't get the cooling. Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

i have a gaming laptop and this game runs like crap since that last patch.,so even if you get something good, dont expect good performance.

I myself bought lenovo legion with amd 5600x CPU I think and 3060m GPU and even though the current patch performance is beyond terrible, the game runs well on it.
