Constant Freezes/Crashes on Gaming Laptop

I'm getting random freezes, followed by a crash to desktop, ever since patch 3.21.2
Before the patch everything was running smoothly. Sometimes I get an error message like this:




Most of the time there is no error message at all.
There is no real pattern when the crashes occur. I run a high mob density map --> crash. I stash my loot in hideout --> crash... and so on.
Sometimes I can play 1 or 2 hours without interruptions and then the game crashes every 5-10 minutes.


I tried the following:
- different graphic settings (low, medium, high etc)
- switching to Vulkan and DX12
- clear client's cache and config files
- uninstalling and re-installing the game (standalone client)
- underclocking my GPU because of high temperatures
- close browser and all third party programs (POB, trade etc) while playing

System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Graphics: Intel(R) UHD Graphics, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU
SSD hard disk

Settings:
Windowed Fullscreen
1920x1080
VSynch Disabled
Foreground FPS cap at 60

System and all drivers are up to date.

Aside from the crashes I have ridiculous long loading times and my system reaches high temperatures: +90°C, before around 75°C.
There is no point in playing when my progress and fun are getting ruined like this.
