Cortex Endboss drops no loot

Did Cortex with Maven today. Normal mobs dropped loot, end boss didnt. Died when the last boss died, released and went back in. No loot, even with no loot filter active. In addition, the boss room didn't have an exit portal once i got back in. I waited 5 minutes, but nothing happened. Was my last portal, so couldn't try to get out of the map and back in... had to leave without loot...

It's been like that for forever, if you die as the boss dies and quit the area before he fully dies, you won't get the loot.

Ok, weird... have played 100s of Cortexes since it first was released, never happened to me until today. But good to know... next time i won't release ;-)
