Swift Affliction support with Righteous Fire bugged
Issue persists in both Standard and Ancestor league
Swift Affliction doesn't recognize Righteous Fire as a supportable gem. However, when testing on my old build in standard, the following behavior is displayed: Upon purchase from Lily, the gem shows unable to support Righteous Fire. ![]() However, when taking out Awakened Swift Affliction from my preexisting build, it shows Righteous Fire as a supportable skill ![]() And when the awakened gem is placed in the inventory next to the regular, freshly bought Swift Affliction from Lilly, the regular Swift Affliction gem starts working (both shown in tooltip and actually affects the skill when slotted in) ![]() Behavior first noticed on the "WrongesteousFire" character in Ancestor league and reproduced on "SwineCrisper" in Standard. not a bug. Righteous Fire doesnt have a duration tag that's why swift affliction is not working. For it to work you have to support your rf with lifetap so it add the duration tag

" You can't link a skill gem to multiple copies of the same support gem. On your character in Standard, RF showed it wouldn't be supported by Swift Affliction because it was already linked to Swift Affliction. Beyond that, previous poster is correct: RF on its own does not have a duration, and cannot hit enemies, so it is not supportable by Swift Affliction. Lifetap Support gives RF something with a duration, which allows Swift Affliction to support it. |
