Zoning into towns spikes CPU usage to 100%
Can you look into this GGG? Due to the boosting architecture of the new gen CPUs, the CPUs reach 100% usage within miliseconds, making the cooler unable to keep up with the cooling of the CPU. I play on 60 degrees in mapping, benchmarking of CPU dont go above 69 degrees, but when I load into a godamn town, I spike to 81 for a milisecond lol

It's been a month since I've had this problem and I'm hoping they'll fix it. For the pain of changing normal robots, I start recording video and frame time norms. |

Still not fixed for me either. Only way I can play is to disable engine multithreading but it's a sh*t solution because it also makes the game perform worse then before the patch. Someone also posted how to do c-state 0 your cpu in the bios. This is also a sh*t solution because it cooks your cpu.
I stopped playing about 30 minutes into Act1 and will not be playing the game until this is fixed or until I buy a new PC. |
