Stuck in Prisoner's Gate

I am currently levelling in HC SSF Ancestors and upon reaching Prisoners Gate (immediately after Brutus) I am getting the following message in chat:

"The league has not yet started and so you cannot move. Once the league has started, you will be able to move."

I was able to play just fine up until Prisoner's gate. I've tried re-entering the area by re-logging, re-logging entirely, restarting the game entirely, still stuck.

Update: I gained a level in prison and went to the league mechanic area and suddenly it works again.
