My friend and I are in the city and cant SEE each other

How do we play together if we cant see each other? We have different global chats differnt people in our screen in the first city. its very strange. Like i said we can whisper to each other and even forma party but thats it. Cant see each other

We are on the same server in the same league

right click portrait, you should be able to join each other instance then. Or else ctrl click waypoint and choose new the right instance

what do you mean right click their portrait? I cant see them at all on the screen. Ill try the ctr click waypoint and see if that does anything. Im assuming it will let me choose a few options?

You have to create a Party first, press S key for social stuff and invite your buddy. Then you can see each others portraits and click the blue swirly thingie in the bottom left corner of the portrait.
That will teleport you to the selected party members position.


Towns have a limit of how many players can be inside at any given time.
If a town is full, the game opens up a new instance of the same town for other players.
So its possible to be in same town but not in the same instance of that town.

if you are in the same party you see his portrait, then right click should give some options, else type /invite name in chat to invite him into your party.

Other way to join same instance: When in the same party you can join his instance by either moving to another waypoint and back or ctrl click the way point and join the instance where he is located (so yes ctrl click should give you a few options, it brings up the instance ui)
