Fun unique build ideas? Help suggest preferebly a multi button build.
Semi Off Topic: I tried last league & wasn't really a fan " Bow League " where the only new thing was for everyone to try Vengeant Cascade. So that wasn't unique enough. I got bored & quit at Act 6.
Usually I get bored at Bloody Aquaduct, after spending days on POB, getting to that Act, then half a day using the Auction house before hitting BA. To only then see some high lvl kill everything with 1 shot >.> before I even get to seem legit with my own build. That's if I don't get bored spamming the same skill from lvl 60 to lvl 80, this has happened since I started playing since Expedition. So to all those who say " The Real game starts at Maps " I think they should reevaluate. Apparently POE 2 is gonna have better dodge rolls at least to keep me entertained late game. The Topic: So I really appreciate a multi button build to keep my interest from lvl 60 onward. Any fun suggestions for this, this league? Since spamming just Viper Strike or laying down spell totems, hasn't worked to keep my interest past lvl 60 to 80. & when I mean multi button I don't mean buffs, like warcry's. I mean at least 2 active skills. Would prefer a multi button melee build tbh. Tho range is okay too. The new support gems, don't seem to add much to the builds this league. I mean most YT channels are still suggesting the same old RF builds for starters. & most of those supports just add damage & nothing else out of the box. & I also want to know just general unique builds for any league that are off meta that a random person would enjoy. So doesn't have to be multi active button either, just 2nd question, " any random build that isn't being promoted on yt starter build videos ". Ty. 100 people towns with hang out fields. Why not do EK sacrifice support gem and returning proj gem build with bladeblast Could be good as either a chieften or trickster. Just stack tons of regen use it as a defense and offence. If you go chieften and stack tons of fire resist and max fire resist you can probably also run RF too while sacrificing 20% of your hp per cast for like 2000 added chaos damage.

Off topic: Anything you can do in the campaign, you can do in maps, and more. There's multiple storylines to progress as you work up through maps, there are league mechanics and atlas trees and Eater and Exarch and the Elderslayers and Shaper and Elder and the Maven... When people say that the real game starts in maps, they're not dunking on people who enjoy the campaign. It's pretty much objective.
On topic: I will assume you have the knowledge required to pull of a hipster build. These generally won't have popular guides to back you up. Here's some of my thoughts: Hydrosphere - you need to hit it with another skill for it to do appreciable damage Self-cast Dark Pact or Forbidden Rite - you need to deal with the huge self-damage Essence Drain + Contagion - classic one-two build that is quite satisfying to map with Detonate Dead - another one-two build with better single target then ED+C Summoner - more of a supportive playstyle where you press lots of buttons to keep your minions up and healthy, might be good to try if you haven't before Manaforged Arrows - this is a one-button build but there's so much shit on the screen that it doesn't feel like it One of the Steel skills - they have a unique Recall mechanic that might interest you Arc + Galvanic Field - I don't know much about it but I know some people play this for single-target plus clear General's Cry Blade Flurry - interesting sort of psuedo-melee build |
